The mission of the WE-RRT is to celebrate, empower and protect the women of Lancaster so they can achieve their greatest wellness and potential, by publicly supporting women’s allies and advancements, advocating for legislation that impacts female health and safety, educating about issues that affect women and increasing the representation of women in government by supporting them to run for office.


  • Fight for equity in opportunity and wages
  • Support women to get more seats at the table in government, education, business and anywhere else they want to lead
  • Defend Planned Parenthood and preserve Roe v. Wade
  • Bring awareness to domestic violence and champion protection services

Join the WE-RRT for a community forum on domestic violence, featuring panelists from organizations that support victims, to educate about this complex issue and explore ways we can all get involved and help.

Panelists include Bonnie Glover (Director of the Domestic Violence Shelter of Lancaster), Trudy Brandt, MSW (Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors of the YWCA) and Janet Diaz (Candidate for Lancaster City Council).

Admission is free, however, we will be accepting donations on behalf of the Domestic Violence Shelter of Lancaster.
